Beginning July 1, 2011, The Early Childhood and Family Studies programs at UCR Extension will be implementing the new F5 Riverside CARES Plus Program. Eligible participants need to be currently working as an Early Care and Education Provider in a licensed Family Child Care or Center-Based Facility, taking care of children ages 0 to 5, in Riverside County, for at least 15 hours per week, with 9 months of consecutive employment.  If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please contact Dr. Margi Wild at (951)827-5995 or via email at wild@ucx.ucr.edu or Dr. Guillermina Hernandez at (951)827-2650 or via email at ghernandez@ucx.ucr.edu.  Thank you!

“SHARE is a program of Riverside Public Utilities to assist qualified low-income customers with their electric bills and deposits. Administered by Community Action Partnership of Riverside County (CAP Riverside), this program is supported by voluntary customer contributions and has been expanded with funds from the state-mandated Electric Public Benefits Charge.  Qualified customers can receive $150.00 on their electric bill every 12 months.  For more information about eligibility criteria and how to apply, please contact CAP Riverside at 951-955-6448.”

A public/private partnership of businesses, schools, community agencies and city/county governments appointed as the Local Planning Council for federal block grant child development.
